“Tamsin has a clear vision of what will work in a room. Her knowledge of the art world and love of antiques mean her projects are crafted with a curious, intelligent eye.”

About
Since founding her studio in 2013, Tamsin Saunders has established herself as a leading designer with a unique ability to create homes which have been described as ‘effortlessly beautiful’, ‘seamless’ and ‘undone’. Embracing a wide variety of styles, what defines Tamsin’s work is her ability to create homes which respond to the personality of the client, the history of the building and the wider landscape: Homes which are seemingly effortlessly elegant and original and which feel as though their inhabitants have lived there forever.
As a keen artist, Tamsin approaches each project as if it were a canvas, focusing on composition, colour, texture, scale, form, and, crucially, light. Her practice is unusual for its breadth and scope: Every detail, every creative decision both inside and out is carefully considered, an approach which embraces and combines all four strands of Tamsin’s knowledge, passion, interests and expertise – architectural spatial planning, interior design, antiques and gardening – and ensures that every aspect of a home’s creation is considered as part of the whole.
Current work includes the renovation and extension of a house in Wandsworth, and the reconfiguration and refurbishment of listed homes in South and West London. For examples of our previous work please see Projects.
