These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products from the Home & Found website.

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through our website and should be read alongside our Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will apply only to orders placed after the revised Terms are published on our website.
Product Information
We take great care to ensure that all product descriptions, dimensions, photographs and pricing are accurate.
Many of the items sold by Home & Found are antique, vintage, handmade or crafted using traditional techniques. As a result, variations in colour, finish, texture, patina, dimensions and appearance are to be expected and form part of the character of the product.
Signs of age, historic repairs, surface wear, colour variation and other characteristics associated with antique and vintage pieces should not be regarded as defects.
While we endeavour to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that the colours shown on your device will precisely reflect the appearance of the product.
All dimensions provided are approximate.
Ordering
When you place an order through our website, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order.
This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. A contract between you and Home & Found Ltd is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:
- A product is unavailable.
- There has been an error in pricing or product information.
- We are unable to obtain payment authorisation.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
- Circumstances arise that make fulfilment of the order impracticable.
Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued
Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be changed at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.
Payments are processed securely through our authorised payment service providers. Home & Found does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
Bespoke and Made-to-Order Products
Certain products are made to order or produced to a customer's individual specifications.
Production will commence only once all necessary specifications have been received and payment has been made in full.
Because these products are created specifically for you, bespoke and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced and are not eligible for return except where required by law.
Any lead times provided are estimates and may vary depending on materials, production schedules and supplier availability.
Furniture and Oversized Items
Certain furniture and oversized items require specialist handling and delivery arrangements.
Such items may not be available for direct purchase through the website and may instead be supplied following acceptance of a bespoke quotation.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products can be safely delivered to the intended location, including access through doorways, staircases, corridors and lifts where applicable.
Home & Found cannot be held responsible for any costs or losses arising where access restrictions prevent delivery.
Delivery
Delivery information, estimated delivery times and shipping charges are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
Estimated delivery dates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
We shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including customs delays, courier disruptions, adverse weather conditions or supply chain interruptions.
Inspection of Goods
Customers are encouraged to inspect products promptly upon delivery.
If you believe an item has arrived damaged, faulty or differs materially from its description, please contact us as soon as possible.
For transit-related damage, we request notification within three days of delivery wherever possible to assist us in investigating the matter with the relevant carrier.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
Returns and Refunds

Where you are entitled to a refund, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Intellectual Property
All content appearing on the Home & Found website, including photographs, text, graphics, logos, branding, designs and product descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Home & Found Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in relation to any order shall be limited to the price paid by you for the relevant product.
Events Beyond Our Control
We shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, without limitation, natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, labour disputes, transportation disruptions, supplier failures, pandemics, telecommunications failures or other unforeseen events.
Governing Law
These Terms of Sale and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law provides otherwise.
